London based designer Kim Shui presented the
lastest collection 'Transcend 13.2' with contemporary and dynamic style. For
the collection, Kim drew inspiration from the strength, light, space and story
of the architecture of gothic cathedrals, which translated into beautifully
sculpted shapes, fluid silhouettes and magnificent forms. Playing with light
and heavy elements: transparent silk organza, lacquered tweed, speckled wool,
and fine lamb leather all come together to represent light at different
degrees. Textures and colors mix together through details with plenty of
structured cutting, ruffles being paired with bold folds, boxy shoulders and
figure-hugging lines.
